My New Dat

Just got a new Dat, its a minimum of 6yrs old and still only about 25cm tops. It has been a the lfs for a long time and hasn't been fed or cared for very well, but hopefully with some TLC i hope it turns out to be good looking fish. I read somewhere they only have roughly a 10yr life span in captivity so I hope this old fella will last quite a while longer.

Monster fish are very very expensive over here the dude in the store wanted $1000 for it
But I forked out $350 and traded in a 30cm delhezi bichir for it.

you should bit*h slap the owner of the lfs for not taking better care of him.

he will be "like new" with a good diet and some love!
