gill curl is on the other side of the fish, cause is usually bad water quality.

bad water can cause that? doing a rescue mission?..hopefully it's a quick recovery..
 
well not really a rescue mission, I have no idea if it's caused by the previous owner or the owner before that one. It's pass the point of it can heal by itself so have to do a surgery and trim off the curled soft membrane.
