Hi all, came home yesterday to find my young micro with no belly im suspecting the wyckii killed him the cichlid's devoured him... at 8 inch i thought he was safe... wouldn't have been a long term home in my 300 anyway's i guess... in my dismay i travel the local classifieds and came across a 19 inch diplogramma for 70 uk pounds after the owner repeatedly dropped the price month on month looking for a home!! drove up and got him this morning pretty happy with him and looks better in the flesh... when he settles he'll have a nice blue tail as he did in his tank this morning!-) and please don't shoot me down my cichlid's are going and he was housed with a few around 8 inch which he left alone!

WOW HE`S AWESOME MAN CONGRATS I have 2 at 14 inch or so one is super blue and the other is just coming into more blue and shes thick sorta like yours...
Right. .. The next day in my dismay I bought a 23 inch micro (silly decision I know) seemed to be doing fine went to bed, dead in the morning!!! All I can think is the 14inch wyckii catfish it murdering them??? Although I find it hard to believe!
Unless large snakeheads are easily shocked and die of stress. Both spent around an hour in poly boxes with air holes and I had the heating up on the car. .. Both done well for half a day in my tank, both died in the night. At a loss.

Sorry to hear that just doubt a box would kill em I deff think it's that devil cat .. U still got the stubby red tail ?

no i sold him to wetsock on here, went to live with his big asian aro's... i give up for now i'm just leaving the tank as it is now everything i touch atm seems to end in tears both fishwise and in my regular life!! lets hope my christmas brightens up from here on.... merry xmas all btw!-)
