Cheers fella have a goodun. snakeheads are hungry and predatory no doubt, they will rip food from other fish's mouths ect but im yet to see any aggression.... same with piranhas they are trying to eat not be nasty to other fish...

i thing aggressiveness is the sole ground of catfish and cichlids... oh and ma african pike but that was revenge lol..

Ya catfish n cichlids r pretty aggressive but dont underestimate snakeheads.......they attain aggression when matured....juveniles are often easily bullied with cichlids.....
Snkhds tankmates are not safe they can b killd anytime
Agression of it mostly depends upon age, species
For ex: my frndz 9 inch punctata trashed 10 inch micro n killed 8 inch striata
Now here most aggressive species to b known is micro but it was easily bullied by more aged , matured punctata.....
There is a video in youtube striata bullyin bigger micro.
Accrdin to me most aggressive snkhd i hav owned is albino striata,
Thn , marulius, micro, chevron striata, puntata, diplo
Top level predatory fish was diplo......it was not much aggressive ,still it has killed lot of fishes in my tank..........including albino striata!....n almost killed jaguar....

Gutted I lost my micro, Tanks just not the same, I had heard that dramatic ph flip and temp change can send channa's belly up, Mine was due to an unseen parasite, :( I want a diplo now,...Cant find one tho :(

maybe so, guess i'll never know.. i almost dont want to try another now as it may be a sentence to death by wyckii catfish.. think i may just get a dwarf one and have a small species tank to scratch my channa itch. sorry to hear you lost yours, i glanced your thread earlier... if you find any baby diplo let me know tho!-)

If im lucky enough to find one :P

send us some!-)

You could make some big money if you found a legal way to do it! Should look into it a 2ft diplo sold here on the classifieds recently for 400 uk pounds! 80 quid for a baby. Send me a shipment and we will sell them for you?
