Like NC said, the big guys don;t come around often so people can get good money for them.

yours is so better looking then mine I yes I picked my one up last night I'll post pics a bit later as I can't with my iPod touch
 
what did you feed your ebjd s ??
all im feeding them is brine shrimp, flake and lil protein flake things

Thats a pretty deep split. I doubt it will heal completely. Shouldn't really cause any issue though.

I feed a WIDE range of foods. Mainly Hikari pellets. I normally feed Cichlid Excel in the morning since I feel veggies and spirulina help keep EB's healthy. At night I rotate between Cichlid Gold and Cichlid Staple mainly. I also throw NLS cichlid pellets into the mix on a regular basis. For frozen food, I typically feed Blood Worms or Mysis once a week or so. I also feed frozen peas at least once a month.

I have been advised not to feed frozen brine shrimp by many people. Not sure if there is any truth to it but I've been told that typically, the ones frozen have already lived long enough to lose any nutritional benefit.

You are all lucky!!! I still have yet to come across an EBJD at one of my LFS's. They are beautiful!
