Holy cow. I thought that was a normal royal in the back compared to how your thunder looks like.

Xingu has it good days when they're light cream color, but yes there a huge difference in colors.

Your specimen is definitely nice looking, water is so clear too, do u keep many dw in ur tank? What do u feed yours?
Anyways freshwater exotics have one left, much smaller than what rotary have. I think its about 7 or 8".

I keep a good amount of DW in one end of the my tank, I also use a lot of carbon to pull the tan tint out the water and change the carbon regularly.
I feed all my plecos Hikari, Spectrums, and shrimp pellets from different brand.

Awww poor thing. Send him this way he will be greeted with open fins lol. Maybe add a few hiding spots for the new guy. Looks awesome just like the other one you have.

I will have to add taller and wider DW now, hope my African tiger fish doesn't crash in to the bigger DW.

Tiger Fish? How big is that ATF?

7" it lose some scales last time a had a big DW in the tank. My tiger fish is usually calm but it when he swim to close to the DW and get tangle up in it. It just skittish by nature.
That why I keep the DW short and down one end of the tank.
