Jay and Al, I know that Li is aware of the situation, though I've been busy with a move lately and I'm not entirely abreast of the situation. I'll try to figure out more.

Updates...

Id have to say this species is my favorite of Hoplias. Very interactive and swims a lot. Like a dog that waits for you to get near the tank. I still got mine with the Morays, you? CF and green seem to be happy in my tank, you, any aggression yet??

Vid of the wolves eating. These are the CF Panara Lacs from Wes. They got big quick and tried to eat the Cuda so the wolves moved out. Cuda still reside with the eels in the 180 along with the runt CF Panara and 3 Green eyed Lacs.

Greedy little guys lol, nice as always, what kinda aro? No aggression? And the green eyed lacs didn't keep up, but how much smaller are they

The Aro got a few nips but he'll learn to stay clear eventually.... lol. It's a Jar.

The Green eyed guys converted to pellets a lot slower so growth hasn't been as fast as the others, but there is 1 Green eye about the size of the runt CF. My green eyes stay hid so don't seem to eat as much as the CFs which just hover mid water then attack at feeding time.

Looked like it but the vid wasn't focused on it so it was hard to tell lol, nice. And makes sense. What's you're opinion on the two as far as species go now? The CF's body shape definitely looked like a lacerdae to me.

Here are some pics of a larger Wolf I got from Wes. Bought as a "red Lacerdae". I believe this wolf to be an Iguaza. The lil CF Panaras look to me like mini versions of this wolf. Guessing this guy to be around 15" with no signs of slowing down.

Looking good Al. Thanks for the update.

Thanks JL! Would love to know what you think about this species ID.......

One thing I can't seem to get enough of is this crazy splashing at feeding time! So I've acquired a show quality 300 tall I'll be adding these wolves to along with my group of Odoe. Should be one heck of a feeding show. Hoping to be up and running in the next few days.

Hoping to eventually get the Cuda caught up to the Odoe but the Odoe will have to hit that point of slowing down around 8-9" before that's going to happen, seems my Cuda have really only grown taller, not longer, lol. Until they are big enough to add to that mix they'll just stay with the eels- seems to be a very peaceful, successful combo,
