I am sooo pleased i just hope my tigrinus doesnt eat my galaxy eel as it is much smaller than i thought. I will move the wood then i think. There are a lot of open water fish now so that sounds like a good plan.
I did see the eel the fire eel id huge but i think i have found one as large if not larger with far nicer markings, but i am deff going back for the clown loach asap, they are monsters!!!!!!!!!
And all his snake heads are stunning his dog is the sweetest thing in the world lol

watch the eel. if there are any places to escape it will find them so tape up everything. i lost a galaxy eel that way, it managed to push it's way through masking tape to get out!!! good job with the clowns, i picked up 4 more today that looked real big in the shop (prob 5") got them home and realised that i must have at least a dozen that are double that size! they've really grown since i've had them on sinking cichlid gold which they go mad for.

did you see his big thinbars? you need one of those now. my favourite fish, even more so than my widebar. here's a pic of mine

**** my tank has loads of gaps theres no way i can tape it up, surely it wont be determined to kill itself. I hate fish that jump out. Once one of my fish jumped out and one of my snakes (4ft het peibald royal) broke out to eat it lol
I cant wait to get the cloens and fire eel.
oh and get rid of the other stuff. Also lets see those loach!:D:D

need to do a loach update so will post a pic of them soon. There's over 30 now.

biggest is probably 9" i'd say. go for those thinbars, the biggest is probably the biggest in the uk (very close call with my one!). 3 of them may be old ones of mine that i traded to him but not sure which ones he has left.

pics take practice mate, a decent dslr camera, learn the manual settings and you'll get there in no time.

That sounds amazing, alan had some pretty big ones. I will try get a thin bar or two off him, one he had was nearly as big as the pulcher but i have to say the largest thin bar by far is at wharf aquatics in the display tank its about 16".

I really need to nick the nikon from work and get a wide angle lense so i can get good full tank shots.
