My new fish (pics)

correct me if I am wrong, but I though the stone fish is not a true freshwater fish? By the way though really nice looking fish.

it is brackish but some do have luck keeping them in freshwater, they are tough to keep alive regardless. I don't think they are poisonous like the marine one. really cool fish
 
Yes guys, the Stonefish are brackish/saltwater fish. They can be kept in FW when young, and need to slowly move to brackish. In the next few months I'm going to put him in a 35g either by himself or with a couple other brackish fish that are in FW and begin to slowly turn it to a brackish tank

It would look so cool in a brakish tank with some puffers and scats :P Not sure if they're compatible though, but i would love a combo like that

Definately. Puffers are pretty aggressive though, and scats I believe get too big. But I agree that tankmates would be cool, if I could find some that would work

You could try some large Sailfin Mollys and Archers. Those are top level fish so the tank will fill up nicely. Monos could work too.
