no they are just pregnat malawi cichlids ....they are usually very silver but since they have been holding eggs they have turned real dark....unless you are talking about my rainbow fish...witch pic are you thinkin of?

is anyone breeding africans right now aswell.....what are your rearing techniques....do you strip the fry or leave it?.....
ive got about 4-5 more females a week behind these ones and will be ready to seperate right away.......
alright since no one has asnswered im gonna post pics of what ive done istinctivly cause i knew 2 of my fish were ready just due to the size of theyre mouths
there are about 20-25 of these guys now but thats just to start i have another 7 pregnant females
i didnt us a tooth pick or my nails my fish let them go with a gentle squeeze of the cheeks....

now anybody have sujestions on care?
i have the filter covered with nylon and its low powered
i going to add some bigger rocks in about 2 weeks
but by then i will have about 50 -60 more to add if all goes well
