You give "envy" a new meaning!!!

Its not the fish room, per se, it is the chance of building it from scratch, the planning, the stocking anticipation, the endless possibiklities.....

Come to the meet on the 31st of this month. It is being held at my place. You could ride down with Mike, Notorioussway, or Rally.

EDIT: Or drive yourself I guess. LOL

You could ride with me if you want but your going to have to let me get a sneak peek at that new fish room, it looks great man!

Can't make it to the meet...<snif> :(

My band works at the Old Trail that evening. It's in Pendelton so I'll probably see Mike driving away just as I'm pulling into town.

This must be the Bday gift you gave yourself! AWESOME sir.

So what fish and tanks do you plan to stock the room with????

Totally up in the air really. I like so many different fish that only time will tell. Tank sizes in the room will vary and I figure it shouldn't be a prob to get an estimated 1,000-1,500 gallons of water in here and still be able to turn around. :)

More progress and pics to come. It's going to be a really busy weekend for me so pls be patient. :) Workin' hard for the next couple of days!

Love the lighting ^_^. can't wait to see what you decide to stock it with, and meh, if you can't make up your mind...always the possibility of a second fish room LOL. (though that one looks like it'll more than suffice :))

I always find threads like this so much better when people are putting in the hard graft themselves.

What's going on the floor, carpet, cement or tiles?

Great room! Tons of fish to take in to consideration to put in tanks! What are the the average size tanks goong to be in the room?

As much as I like the idea of being surrounded by lots of tanks with weird custom dimensions, I'll no doubt go with some standard 75g tanks . 75s have the kind of footprint and height that makes them suitable for all kinds of fishkeeping options. There will definately be some 20g longs for growout tanks. If anything huge goes in here it will likely not exceed 300 gallons. Saving the garage for the future billion gallon tank build :naughty:
