damn, just read this whole thread thinking there was alot more pages=P i guessed by the end it would be done but now im in suspense too!
i really like the design of the windows and the edging to make it like a temple! looking great so far i cant wait to see some updates!

those are also nice plecs how big do they get?

just an idea, if your loooking at having some smaller tanks, you could have a go at breeding some small tangynikan cichlids like shelldwellers, here they are about 15£ per fish so you could make some money on them

Thanks for the kind words. The L204 plecos get to be about 5 inches. I already have some breeding Neolamprologus Multifasciatus. Those I just give away to keep the population down. They are prolific!

Thanks. More to come probably tomorrow. Today has been bizzy.

This is what I came up with while shopping around for the perfect fish flooring. Konecto is really durable stuff and easy to install. I could leave a monster water spill sitting on this for months and it would never get through to the subfloor. It's basically a big pondliner once connected together and cleans up really easy. Totally water proof. A friend of mine has this stuff in his kitchen. He told me that a cigarette fell on it and burned all the way down. When he cleaned it up it looked like nothing ever happened. The planks have aluminum oxide woven into them which makes them tougher and quieter than regular laminate. Unfortunately Konecto is almost twice the money per ft. as regular industrial laminate but is nearly twice the thickness. This is the ultimate way to go for a fish room imo, atleast if looks matter.

I went with the closest thing I could find that looked like bleached wood. The idea came from watching some tv show with a guy who was trying to sell his NYC apartment, I was like "THAT'S IT! THAT'S THE LOOK!"

I'm also in the works of remodeling the room past the door of the above pic. This will be my wifes goldfish emporium. It will sport roughly 200 gallons worth of her favorite fish, ryukins and orandas. I'm happy to say that our house now has absolutely zero carpeting in it. Gone forever. I hates carpet!

EXCELLENT choice of flooring....maybe too late to put a floor drain in? Plumb it to the ouside garden, for sqeegeeing down some spilled water?

Never too late for floor drains. Required! lol

Love the choice of flooring, definalty worth the extra $$$ in my eyes. what else is there left to do anyways besides finishing up the drain?

Currently hooking up a 100gpd ro unit with a pump. More drains will follow. I'm estimating about eight of them total spread out around the walls. What's left to do (besides more plumbing) is building stands and getting all of my tanks out here, then of course adding more. The scape changes daily. I can barely walk in here now with my tools and pvc scattered everywhere.

So, wifey will take care of the feeder provision, right????
