My new flowerhorn

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Flowerhorns are best kept alone(or with a divider they can bully through to pump up their kok but not cause harm or get harmed.)
They have a history of not being good in a community tank. They can be fine for awhile and then just snap and kill everything in the tank one day. So yeah, I would keep him separated for the best results.

is the blood parrot a male or female?
If your trying to pair them up put a seperator in the tank so they can get used to each other

I guess I have both male parrots as they fight among themselves too. Had to remove my parrot from the tank as he is a kick assume fighter and was beating the **** out of my juvie fh

Update. Within 5 days I see a good difference in head formation and body shape. Thanks to all your advice that I retained him and now am extremely happy

Just a few more queried.

1. Been feeding him three different pellets with assthaxyin but I see he is developing yellows and blues more vividly than reds. Cud it be due to the purine in head up pellet. Is he really a red dragon

2. Is he a normal. Body or short body type

Based on the last 3 pics how would you honestly rate him on a scale of 1-10. He is almost 5 inches now

Mate!!! He is looking great. You would get to see the difference once he grown out. Just do a regular water change and don't over feed him.

Update after 3.5 months since his purchase. He has grown a lot but is not as hyperactivie as he used to be when he was a small fish
