Unless you have a couple of 180's laying around, those fish are first, not going to get along, and second, not one single specimen of the free fish should even be in a tank that small. All those fish get over a foot long.. I'm surprised they haven't killed each other already. They're great looking fish, but shouldn't be kept unless you have the adequate room for them.

well can someone tell me a nice size breeding pair, that will take up most of the tank.

A pair of convicts should do fine in a 55. Plus their extremely easy to breed.

No it's the former Dallas Aquarium at the fair park. It was really old so their just recently started an estimated 2 year renovation on the place. I think it was built in 1936.
