just picked this up today

it was a friends
they didnt clean it or take care of it and just wanted it gone
so i took it LOL


the water was waaay low from evaporation,you can kinda see in the pix

hopefully the fish take ok to new "fresh" water lol
i have them in a ten with their filter
the pleco looks like he has bloat
what kind is he?

they said it was a 30g
how do i figure it out?lol

and whats the blue thing on top of the filter for?
it swivels

i think the blue thing on the filter is for recycling the water. it basically re -routes the water through the filter one more time. Does it move left to right?

no it folds down and stands up

Nice, looks like a 35 hex, but you can measure the sides and go to google and type in aquarium calucalator and get an estimate.. GL

i have to much already to buy stuff for this




oh and the tank is

23" tall

6 sides
each side is 12" wide

and from side to side its 22"

and i searched and the tank is a hexagon and is around 37 gallons
so 35 like said above
