well richard is correct...there is no gator gar in that photo, there's a Florida/spotted gar, but no gator. amazing that these mis-ID's still take place by the time people are posting on the fish forum (reading ahead on ID threads, etc would save people a lot of annoyance with mis-ID and the typical "what? the LFS sold this to me as an alligator gar???!!!" responses) --
