My new Geo. Sveni group

Picked up these 6 yesterday from JasonsPlecosCichlids
Their dorsal, caudal & pelvic trailers are to die for!
QT in a 40B for the next few months while I decide where to put them…

Already feeding well and very social, coming right to the front of tank every time I walk in the room

Sveni's are great. Got mine in December. He does rush up to get food. Pecks it from my fingers.
A very busy fish also. Thinks he's king of the tank!

Yeah, I got one because I had pecking order problems with Jurupari's in the past. But sveni's are a lot different than jurus Anyway my sveni "Hamilton" is all "show" as far as dominating the tank. He's in with 3 big fat silver dollars and 6 congo tetras. He will peck at the SD's a bit (and sometimes the congo male) but they basically ignore him. The SD's run over him like a semi truck when it comes to feeding. But Hamilton get's plenty of food. And he's usually busy looking for food and sifting sand. After that, yes, at times he parades like the boss until an SD plows into him LOL.
He's a cute little bully (in his own mind). Beautiful fish.
Side note - I have black gravel with a bit of white in it. (Carib Sea -River of Doubt). Really brings the color out in him.
