Apparently, I got cheated when I got them for $2. Fish farms here in Singapore sell them as feeder fish. You can get about 30 for $2.

yup, these are feeders for bigger fishes ... i kept 2 of them too, the rest was fed to my aros - they love them ...

mine has grown from 5" to abt 6-7". also kept mine with an aurant (8"), leucistic striata (6") & a H. malabaracus (common wolf fish) ... the wolf can be a little quarellsome when not fed ...

Hi, its a shame that micros are used as feeders,in many places in the world, not only are they difficult to find but they cost much more money than they cost in Singapore!
