Thanks guys. I put a feeder platy in the snakeheads tank and they dont seem fussed at all about it. They have only been in the tank for 2 days now and i am putting their compatability down to them not being settled in. what do you think?

I presumed the second a juicy platy hit the water they would be all over it, having read about their murdersome tendensies...

lol, they can grow at jaw dropping rates.

mine murdered all my live bearers. :D

nice that many people love giants. :D

WOW! that sounds like a good deal. take care.
man they gonna be well big half the size of u lol unlessyour very tall :) hehe x

they will indeed need to settle in before they will feed , if there stressed they will not feed .

beware that within a few short weeks just being in a 30gal will be enough stress to make them go off there food. so they will need moving out asap , to reduce stress floating cover should be added to the tank ,this will help them settle down and start feeding. also add some bog wood to help sofen the water and add some tannins

watch the live food , if they have been farm raised in asia then they will never of had live food and if they start eating it ,then it may be very hard to get them back off it , you could be setting yourself up for a hard time in the future.

where you going to keep those beasts? your room looks like a zoo allready lol ( pretty much like mine ) you are going to need a 2.5-3foot wide tank within a year and ideally 7foot long or larger .

good luck with them ,
