do you keep them in a divided tank like that permanently? do you see a difference in their quality when they are kept alone?

Thanks! I'm planning on keeping one in that tank and moving one to my 75gal. I have heard that FH show their color/kok better when they are in a divided tank with a similar sized fish. I had my other king kamfa in the tank before I got this one, and he lost his color. When I moved him into his own tank, it came back. I'm trying to sell him now so I can move this tan king to the 75gal...I guess it depends on the fish.

yea i was thinking about dividing a 90G so i can have 2 FHs but that's only going to give them 45G each.

How big are the FH? I have seen multiple fish in divided tanks all doing well. I personally want to have one per tank, but I have also been told to put more than 1 fish in 1 tank to help them develop faster. There's different opinions on what to do. I guess it also depends on if you are breeding, selling, or keeping the fish.

i only have one right now that's about 5". once i set up the 90 i'll think about getting another one and test it out.

I think 2 in a 90 will be ok as long as the fish are close in size. If not, the less dominant one will not show it true potential.

I just watned to post a quick update. Pics were taken today. He's about 5in now and just got a 55gal to himself.
