My new Green Terror!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nice looking GT. Already showing good color!

Mine was about an 1/2 in a month for the first year. then it slowed down alot. That was with 60-70% weekly water changes and fed, shrimp, krill, bloodworms, peas, weekly and 3x a week pellets

GT's are prone to internal parasites. Stay away from live foods, and anything that has a lot of protein. Mine only gets pellets. He grew fast. I've had mine for almost 3 years and he is a good 10 inches. I think I have some pics of him in my gallery.

cool. Nice looking GT u have. Do u still have him?

IMO poor diet and bad water care can lead to parasites. as stated before my last GT lived to be over 9 yrs and close to 11 inches and never had any heath problems on the diet i mentioned above. :) Guess i got lucky then :)

Thanks again guys! I never feed live. Right now theyre being feed, cichlid stape, bio gold, krill and market shrimp. Theyre in a 150 filtered by an fx5 and xp4. Do about 40% w/c twice weekly or one 50% weekly
