It's currently on a pellet diet. Hikari carnivore sticks. Funny thing though... whenever I throw a few pellets in, it always takes the first one to hit the water, and swallows it instantly. The rest of the pellets, it will then take in and spit back out. I have the feed it 3-4 times a day just to get it to take 3-4 pellets. With time I think it will convert. After it's addicted to pellets, I intend to get it on a varied diet of pellets, SW and frozen shrimp.
The fish is from Imperial... couldn't cough up the change for a VIP, which it was housed right next to btw!!

Yeah, I learned the lesson the hard way. I didn't think it would be too much of a problem at first.
I originally had the heater vertical instead of on an angle as pictured in the photos, so the bottom was pretty much at the substrate. The ray I guess was resting under it and now there's a white patch on it's disc... Now I put it on an angle so that the bottom is far from the fine gravel... doesn't seem to a problem now, but I'm gonna pick up a heater guard soon just to be safe.
