my two biggest where 17 and 16"s before they died took about 3yrs to get that size growth slows down length wise and turns into width for a thicker poly. only have one left about 15"'s long will be getting some new baby's in the next couple of months.

Currently, 1 Ornate 8" and 1 Senegal 9" in a 10 Gallon grow out tank. They seem to be getting along okay. Currenly on Pellets and Chopped Market Shrimp. Will move them to a 100 Gallon either this month or next month.

BTW my Biggest ornate came from my dad when he was into it so you can ask him how long he had it before I did LoL
