im getting an underwater cam to watch them but essentially yeah the top will be clear plastic with hinges so a bit like a chest freezer but warmer and with fish in it lol

Can't believe all of these wives and GF's are up to all of these DIY projects. I don't usually tell my GF that I get new tanks, she just comes over and asks why I got another tank. I just smile and say I love you, lol.

Yea I normally do the same thing but every time I spoil her she already ask what I'm up to now! She still enjoy's the attention though. Because once I start ona project she hardly see me.

personally i would make it as big as possible now so that you dont have to worry about making a bigger on for a few years
Well do it all in one go as it is far easier and cheaper in the long run.
Go as big as you possibly can for a 3ft rtc and a 3ft tsn to live comfortably together you are talking 12x4x4 pond

, use the 1 in garage for tsn and rtc then the indoor 1 for other breeds of fish, that was my idea anyway
