If you could rank the pain out of 10 what would it be? Apparently It doesn't hurt but it's the Sound of the needle that gets you.

I always laugh when people don't say it hurts.
Macho or what.
Of course it hurts, you have a needle (sometimes several) going in and out of you and getting scraped along...:screwy:
The first 10 minutes is the worst, after that you get used to it. After an hour I was falling asleep...
Its the sort of pain that is bearable, and you can get used to, It hurt most when it was going over my spine and shoulder blade, then it felt like a knife cutting into me HAHA. After that, its nothing. I would say about 5-6 (I'm 15...and a big chicken when it comes to pain :)) Though it really depends what you compare it to!
But its a truthful answer ;)

it does hurt believe me. not a lot but you really know its being done. Actually you get to like it after a while!!!

Nice tat jess i love to see tattoos on girls.

does it symbolise anything for you? only reason i ask is cos girls tend to put a bit more thought into getting tattoos

It's funny how you start to enjoy it, isn't it :grinno:
Thankyou =]

Yeah, it symbolizies (sp) quite alot for me.

Just come out of a very meaningful relationship for me, with some one who gave me so much; confidence, trust, he seemed to make every effort to help me trust again after being cheated on in my last relationship.
But after a while, It came out it was all an act and that he had cheated on me at least once. I was devastated, and didn't know what to do with myelf. Weren't sure if/how I was gonna get through it. But a month on, I suprised myself and now have little to no feelings left for him and am completely happy again - something I never thought would happen, especially so quick.
I love horses anyway, but it represents for me many things, strength, courage, freedom, stubborness (at times :naughty:) and as you'll probably no from a previous thread...basically a free spirit...and I think the colours/shading help to represent this. All the things I've gained and learnt about myself since things ended. :)
It's gonna be nice waking up, looking in the mirror every morning and remembering everything from the relationship to what I went through to how I've come out of it.

I probs sound stupid being so young, but what can I say, I'm a very serious and deep individual for my age..and yeah..that was the reason!

what can i say. its great that you can move on from something that meant so much to you and that you now have something to look back on. It will make you stronger everytime you think about its meaning.

congrats on your first tattoo and well done for thinking about it first ( i wish i had!) im sure it wont be your last.

Thanks guys!
Yeah I think the looking back part is gonna be the best!
Weylin, I actually like your avatar as an idea for my next tattoo...
