My pair eats fine up to the point they are about lay, then chill for a few days and then start eating a little bit more and more until the fry are free swimming then they start eating at a normal pace. Well you will be overflowed with Jags now......mine spawn every few weeks unless I let them raise the batch or take out there rock. My male is picky with food. Loves Krill and Hikari Bio gold + and that's all he'll eat. The female will pound pretty much anything.

NWatson;4772961; said:As far as the generation thing goes sometimes it matters sometimes it doesn't mean a thing when it comes to looks. The only time I would prefer generations on Jags are for the Honduran Race other than that you never know. My pairs are form a LFS and IMO they look great. Male tons of blues and some greens as well. From what I've seen some of the best red devil / Midas on this site come from pet smart. Keep us updated.
