Cool little guy. Fatten him up! We feed blood worms to the little ones at the store.
 
iunno.. now might have to seperate.. the red devil doesnt really bite it.. or anything.. but if the aro jumps in the way of the red devil he will move the arowana with his mouth or head LOL iunno.. if i should move it or not
 
how much should you feed a young jardini .. a day twice?with different foods right?right now.. he seems to be enjoying.. the hikari cichilds..pellets i drop in for my rd lol and blood worms here and there
 
thats awesome that hes eating pellets mine took a little starving :). Personally I would be very nervous about the RD with the Jar. RDs seem to vary a lot as far as personality but many are totally intolerant of tankmates. Hate to see your Jar get killed. Obviously they are fine now but it's a big "what if?" :(
 
every says it grows quick but really it grows how you feed it you can actually slow there grow but not feeding him to much so your ok for the time
 
He is very cute ..congradulations and best of luck growing him into a beautiful monster.
 
okay.. i got a situation the rd seems to go after the jardini now.. every here and there.. and this is the biggiest tank i have right now.. my question is.. should i buy another arowana to even it out so the odds are in favour.. of the aro... or.. just get some cheap community.. fishs like silver dollar..and pleco and what not.. so he doesnt go after the jardini ORRRR just go crazy and put plants all over and rocks for hiding
