And 27 dollars a piece is a steal for a lfs...its hard to even find an ebjd for that price

I got them at jans tropical fish. They have like 5-7 more but they look more like ebjds but theyre 1/2"-3/4".
 
Cool...I have 2 that are about the same size that I had got sent to me from oregon from hollywood on this site...im in norcal and I think im still the only one in norcal with platinums...they are hardier than the ebjds

Yup exactly...my 7" ebjd use to fight my sailfin pleco for that wafer...ebjds are hard to keep alive past 3 or 4" I strongly believe if you add some kind of vegetable to their diet they have a higher chance of staying alive...I also have another ebjd almost 3" and he is doing great...no experience wirh platinums ive only had mine 2 months at the most

I havent bred any yet so I couldnt tell you...my ebjd and bgjd have laid eggs but ate them and that was like 2 weeks ago...I would say maybe 2 - 4 months old depending on how they were fed and tank size
