what do you think you did wrong? I just got mine from lfs for $20 about same size and for now he's eating wood and shrimp pellets.

He was Eating cucumber, an a color/cichlid flake combo(whatever hit the gravel). then once in the bigger tank he just stayed stuck to the glass. I think they can be a lil finicky.
