My new L190!

I finally got my L190!! I've wanted this fish for well over a year now and couldn't for the life of me find one. Each vendor I'd talk to would say "Sure, I got em', here's a picture" and it would be a green/black striped L191. I have 2 of those and I wanted the L190 soooooo bad. I got him! Gray stripes, nice red eyes, nice full stomach-he's awesome! Just had to share :-)
I got him from a seller named "Wetspotcx" on AquaBid. His real name's Grey and this guy is an A+++ seller with lots of 1 on 1 emails. I won't be going anywhere else for fish I can't find around here. Here's my L190 right after I got him settled in his quarrantine tank, latched right onto the wood ASAP. I love him! Oh, he's 6 1/2" long total length.

Not a huge pleco fan, but i always wanted a Royal Pleco Panaque. Great pick up.
 
I'm excited for ya buddy! I own one too so I do understand your excitement. My wife came home with ours one day without me knowing anything about it. It was an awesome surprise. Anyway congrats on finding the fish you've been looking for. I remember a pleco thread from months back and recall you looking for one then.
 
nice pick up always wanted one but everytime i found one they were to small for my tank
 
Wingate, you remember me looking a long time ago? How funny :-) (Not that it matters but I'm female). To be honest I originally started looking Nov 07'. It became clear pretty quick that they weren't as easy to find as they were 15 yrs ago. Buddha and Lbarthory-thanks! I'm turning one of the 125 g tanks I've got into a Plec tank. Still looking for an L14.

And I am glad to hear that wetspotx is a good seller. He tends to have a lot of stuff that I might be interested in getting.

Finally, in your L14 hunt, I would keep an eye on snookn21's stock. He's an excellent dealer and tends to get a nice variety of plecos in every week. I may be mistaken, but I believe he has recently had L14s.
 
Snookn21 (MFK vendor) has L14s. 2"ers are $30 (i'm ordering one tomorrow) and he also has jumbo size one(s) for more (over $100 is all I remember).

Where in the US are you? Snookn has great shipping rates for Florida residents :) I'm not sure what his rates are for other areas though.
