My new L190!

Thanks, guys. I'm on my way to check out Snook21. I talked to him 6 months ago about L190's and he could just get the L191's. I'm in Oklahoma but when it comes down to it, if the fish is worth it to me I'll spend the money on shipping. (It beats lots of other ways to spend it).

i've had one for a bit over a year now. never really saw them until recently alot have surfaced at some LFSs

How fast do they grow. I might pick one up.

They grow super slow, about 1 1/2"-2" a year if you're lucky. That's the general consensus on PlecoFanatics anyway. The L190's get 18" in the wild but I've never heard of any that big in aquariums so I honestly don't know. I've got 2 of the L191's Royals also (slightly different fish but barely) & those 2 have grown 2" in 17 months. Here's one of my L191 Royals a year ago, they're also gorgeous fish, get to 9" max (and a lot easier to find).

great pick up ,, i have purchased a L190 yesterday ,, its only a baby one about 2 inch , i look forward to seeing an adult size one in my tank ,,

You'll love how hardy and comical they are They're wild caught so put him through a couple rounds of PraziPro, General Cure or Ungle Parasite Clear for parasites.
