Also, with the water changes make sure you siphon/vacuum up the bottom real well to get the phase 2 tomants as they fall from the fish.

I didnt put the water in from the bag. I have a big new and a 5 gallon bucket i pour the water out in. And i do siphon my gravel very well. Its only a 55 gallon so its not that hard to clean conpared to my 180. I'm not a complete amatuer lol
I wasn't insinuating you were. Just giving some pointers for anyone who finds this searching for the same problem.
