My new little (blue?) oscar

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It is healthy, if you look how it is hunting mini swordtails and eats little snails :-). It is right, that I have it only 3 days...I want to tell you , that it isnt usual to see dyed fish in petsmart...may be yellow or pink parrots maximim. Czech rep. isnt economically interesting for it I think. I hope, that my little isnt dyed.

It's just a very plain lutino. There isn't anything wrong with it if your lucky it will get some orange as it grows.

That is not dyed. I have had several lutinos that start out looking like that. That is a very normal looking oscar.

We have ordered "snowball" oscars here at the store and they look like an odd white colored fish with black fins.
As they grow, they sometimes take on some orange or grey on the body but it is soft colors. All of them have had the black trim on the fins.
Yours looks like what we get when they order snowball oscars. I think they come from breeding albinos and they just dont color up.
