Not exotic at all. I usually find several a year. When I was younger we had a dog that loved these things and hed go off into the woods and bring them back! We had an old chicken coop filled with nearly 50 boxies one summer!

Not a tortoise but a box turtle. Very common animal in the Eastern US.
