fobrinkle, Hey i like that guy. He's got a lot of deep coloration. Once he's done fading he'll be even nicer. he looks like he's about 6-8" long from the pic, if you lived near me, or vise versa, i'd trade him for mine. LOL. Nice fish.

to everyone else, thanks for the comments. I'm not a trophy hunter when it comes to my FH's, but I do like nice fish. I know there not the highest quality, but i love them and there great fish.

On another note though, I may have to seperate them for a while. My female is getting ready to lay eggs and she's becoming kind of aggressive towards him. no major damage but the love bits are coming more and more fequently. I don't want to have him end up dead one day. I keep a close eye on them as much as i can, but with these fish you never can tell.

Well here's an update on my little 10$ fader male. He was about 4" when i got him about a month ago now he's pushing 5 1/4". the first pic is of when i got him and the rest are from a day or so ago. Hope you enjoy!!!

Thanks, he's definitly got a big front half. I've never had a male with this much bulk. Most of the one's i've had looked more like my female's body shape. I like him!!!!

Well it's time for another update. After having him 3 months, he has comppletely faded, except for his lips, sometimes they go back to black for a few hours at a time. He has grown from a modest 4" to about 6" right now, his KOK has going massive and almost unsightly, and he's getting meaner by the day, hints the divider LOL. Hope you enjoy.
