Pretty sure that is 100% ven. I've raised several to that size myself. And "spot face pike" is just as generalized as "black line pike". They're utterly worthless descriptors other than differentiating between the larger lugubris pikes and the smaller saxatilis pikes.

He's looking awesome! Good job raising him up. Mine grew really fast as well. Is he a downright pig when it comes to eating? Mine would eat almost anything, and would steal food out of other fishes mouths...

I also have had several Venz that had no facial markings whatsoever. That was my main point, regarless of the uselessness of the term "spot face"
