I'm no expert either. He really looks more Motaguense to me too.
I'm just going to explain the differences that popped out at me. Small differences. But enough to make me wonder.
Yours has faint striping going on. (characteristic of Motaguense) It starts at the top by his dorsal fin and goes down the sides. Loisellei that I have seen dont have that striping. Not even faint striping.
He has a longer body.
His forhead is an even slope. I've noticed that Loisellei often have a slight hump in their forhead. That or a distinctive notch before their mouth.
And the ones i have seen also have noticeable underbites.
Your male seems to have no underbite and it's jaw seems more rounded.
But...again. I am far from an expert.

I just know that I spent TONS of time trying to figure out the differences between all these Parachromis.
(which is tricky)
And the WC Loisellei could very well look a lot different from captive bred ones.
But when I saw the picture, my initial thought before anything was.
"Doesnt look like a Loisellei"
BUT REGARDLESS> It doesnt really matter. It just matters that you like him and thats what is important.
BTW... BEAUTIFUL Jag you have. I just love him.
