retics tend to mature at smaller sizes.... lots of factors can affect it...it really depends on you sizes

Here's some pics of the male and female together to show you the color difference. They are almost identical in size, except she has bigger hips (hey, she is a girl, ya know), and her tail is wider (mostly from good feeding). The female is darker, and closer to the front of the tank in the pics.

Well, he's eaten probably 3 times his own weight in blackworms since last night, so I'd say I shouldn't have any issues getting him to eat. And he's getting along great with my female too. I have some video of them right after I gave them both a pile of blackworms, and they were crawling on top of each other trying to steal each others worms
I posted in the DIY section, my brother has a 125g tank (identical to the one my rays are in right now) that sprang a leak yesterday morning and emptied. As it is less than 6 months old, the company is replacing it free of charge. He is giving me the tank, provided I pay to transport it (not much). I am planning on fixing the leak, hopefully just a good re-siliconing job, and then I will be converting it into my ray tank! That way they'll have the whole 125g tank to themselves, and I won't have to worry about other fish pestering them, or them eating the other fish!

yup they all basically look the same.... few slight difference to pattern in some but over all they all look te same... instead you could just ask your LFS to order you tea cup rays
