lol this happened to me when i got my endli... the owner at my lfs called me saying they got a new del and i was pretty excited to get a del, but it came out to be an endli (my lfs doesnt know any info on bichirs)

There's no way you can be sure of that based on the pics posted. The pics show a head shape more consistent with an upper jaw species.

I am not bummed out one bit i wanted a endli and a del so now to find the Del and maybe a con

I can guarentee that is an Endlicheri Endlicheri, by the color,pattern,headshape.

Man i am glade i did not get this guy at my lfs it would of cost me a finger,, they have an 5 in del for $70 and an ornate for $80 man the price for some fish here is crazy like $150 for a 2in dat,, so a few pics my camera is not the best

That's more like it! You can see the the lower jaw head shape a lot better in the first pic in this post.

If you can't tell if it's a Del or an Endli by ANY of the pics posted then you need to study up.

In no way does any of the pictures resemble a Del.
