This guy is wild from Nicaruagua along with a few others that im sure will be posted here on mfk, youtube, facebook etc. Not feral! The feral ones do look similiar only because the feral come from the same collection point. But this guy and several others were just recently imported. From where in Nicaragua? I'm honestly just interested because I really like the blues. Must have cost a pretty penny because a fish that size is a one fish per box sort of deal. Conkel's website says from "Lago de Nicaragua" and from the fishing photos I've seen online from Lake Nicaragua the dovii don't have so much blue. Maybe it's the lighting?

The hues of the fish change depending on lighting and angle you are looking at it. Like Jason said "For more information feel free to contact Gage with comments or concerns". And yes it was not cheap and yes it was a one fish per box deal...to me that is not an issue if I find a fish that is worth it and if I like it.

I have purchased from Gage in the past and won't again. Personal preference. Enjoy your dovii, he has some great colors. (And I honestly didn't comment on this thread because I thought it was a Conkel fish.)
