With regular aquarium lights you could keep hornwort, American val, guppy grass (Najas), cabomba, and Elodea canadensis, which are all NA natives.

Wow, thats definately some sweet aquascaping! Are those the Louisiana Bay longear or the Central Missouri Longear (they dont look like Northern longear to me) Zimmerman sells?
