My new Nics! warning pic heavy

Thank you I couldn't pass it up. Found it at my LFS, I still can't believe I paid $30 for a piece of wood but I think it adds allot. They said it was Manzanita wood.
 
It has been a little over 2 weeks since I received my nics. I think they are coloring in nicely. I had the tank lights off this weekend and the sun was hitting them. They are outstanding looking in the sun very metallic looking.

All of my nics have a very solid black line except one. I think it is female only has one black dot no stripe. Anyone know if this tell me anything? Is it gender, dominance, stress, anything like that? Duanes I am sure you know :)

In the last 2 pics you can see the blue is starting to come in. I am feeding them NLS with garlic.
