Wow! Nice! Was the last 2 pictures taken before or after it ate the Goldfish? That Goldfish looks big for it. Be careful...I had a LF Sen that I was feeding a night crawler. It was eating it and I thought it would be fine as it would rip it apart. It ended up choking on it. So keep an eye on it.
Thanks guys! Anyone have the scientific name on this guy?
The two pictures are before, and he spit it out after a 20 minute fight. I'm on my way to get him some worms so he does not think about my smaller dats as a snack.
I tried feeding him some hikari pellets and sinking pellets as well as brine shrimp, so far none of it.
Bichirs are greedy eaters. They're snatch food that can sometimes be too big for them to eat. My bichir will steal food from my arrowana and make the arro chase after it.
They'll be in on the action as soon as he's swallowed the goldfish!! In a few months the bichir will be big enough to eat the tigers, I'd suggest you separate them.
