My new ornate poly

that little dat doesnt look much bigger than that feeder, might want to watch carefully.

Those dats are pretty tough. The needlefish will eat feeders more than twice the size of the dats, but won't touch the dats. When the needlefish and poly get larger, the silver dats go to my 55G.

The dats actually harass the poly a little, though he has a nice hiding spot now.

I will try feeding the poly prawn, he didnt take any worms this afternoon.

Tough or not, if it will nearly fit in a polys mouth its food. I had some altum angels eaten by my smallish ornates, I thought they were far too tall but I was wrong...

doesnt matter how tough it is when its in that bichirs throat.

Yeah... I thought once full grown Giant Danios were too big and too fast for an 8" senegal... Never again...
