how do oscars attack? i have him with 2 20inch cuban gars, they're my main concern. he seems to be fine for now, but does flare up at their faces/eyes once in a while. is there need for concern about it taking one of their eyes? it will have to go if so.

It's probably trying to establish it's dominance in the tank. Just keep an eye on it.

very nice oscar. I cant see an oscar plucking out the eyes of your gars though. My synspilum on the other hand managed to eat both of them off of my pangasius cat lol.

thanks guys. the oscar's still punking the gars, i hope this doesn't continue...it'll be the shortest while ive kept a fish. other wise the oscar looks great!
