My new OSCAR

man, you should have known better! I wouldn't add him back with the gar in any tank....you never know and I would hate for you to come home one day to a f-ed up cuban.

Nice oscar, but I'd keep them separated.

just one of those things you hoped might work. saw a number of oscar/gar combos, was hoping the gars would come out fine thanks to their size, looks like i was wrong.
 
i have been keeping 2 10"+ oscars who have grown along side my gars(florida/spotted)
the oscars have always ignored my gars and this has been working for more than 10 months, even at feeding times there is no problem
that oscar is beautiful
 
wow hes gorgeous. with those were easier to find like that status over here :( we got some common taste homeboy

thanks, the oscar is w tigerlover, haha he came to pick it up just now to keep it for a bit. my temp tank couldn't take it. it was his originally, made a big round and went back to him lol

yeah:D actually looking at yr pics made me want the oscar! supposed to be dirt cheap or smthin here...but then again i wish tropical gars were available here too. i'm going to get some in a year or two. at this point i really don't care how much they're going to cost me. reGARding the oscar, it was a beauty, but i couldn't handle it. returned to it's original owner and a close friend.
