I said that to my fiance and she said it was listed as a tiger but ill be cool to see what he is in a few weeks and how his colors turn out

Good point. The eye is right for that operculum and mouth, but the body behind it has some catching up to do. He'll be pretty. I'm guessing the adult color will be a dirty gold.

no worries mate he will be gorgeouse as all oscars are, its nice to hear that youre back with these lovely fish.
I have yet to come accross a fish with more character and the baby's are just gorgeouse. good luck

i got out of it about a year into the hobby and i gad a 55 and my 2 oscars reached about 7 inches in it with some friends. I decided they needed a home that i couldnt give them at the time and i regret it everyday cuz they were great. ate fish outta my hand and they would swim between my fingers and wouldnt bite.
