actually the "white" ones are called Lutino and are mislabeled as "albinos" which are actually very rare. Just saying!

Remember bigger oscars require less protein and higher levels of "fiber" and full grown ones especially are prone to disease with too much protein... get him started on vegetables now!

I'd say 90% of walmart oscars are Red Tiger Oscars and/or Red Oscar. Occasionally some albino but chances are it's a RTO or RO. Oscars are pigs and carnivorous. They will eat almost anything. Dried blood worms is what I'm assuming you bought. If so that's fine. But pellets will fill them up better. By frozen shrimp they love it. Of course defrost and break it down to edible sizes before feeding the oscars. Walmart has hikari pellets too. But your lfs should have more of a food selection for the water friends. insects like crickets, worms, meal worms 2.50 at the fishing section at walmart for a small 100 count that's if your a walmart person. Or go to petco scrath that only go to petco if neccessary if there's a petsmart go there instead petco sucks.
