Maidenhead aquatics steve-they only had the one. Its doing OK but is very inactive at the moment. Its fattened up considerably but will only take lancefish at the moment-I'd like to get it on pellets preferably. Nice to be backin the land of polys though :grinno:

Thought it would be there, which branch was it?

All the bichirs i have bought from them ate pellets straight away but they do like prawn ,lancefish etc too.

It was Stratford branch-had some nice fish there. Some Motoro pups in that one of their staff bred but they're wanting £120 when they go on sale and I don't know if this a reasonable price.
It appeared that the ansorgii took a pice of carnivore tonight so I might be lucky ;)

good pickup rob. in my days of keeping many, many polypterus these would of set you back a good £400 even as short as 3yrs back. suddenly
they are crazy cheap.

recently gave away my last del, lap and weeksi so am now completely out of the poly game.

Very nice pickup, especially with a delhezi price tag. Lol.

Cheers Martin-hope alls well with you and the fish. The last Poly I kept was my 14" WC Nigerian Endli-from the same batch as you got if I remember correctly-but it jumped 2 years ago or more and I've never been able to face looking at them again. I'm still gutted even now
