Covered the intake so the fry don't get pulled in, moved the hose further away, while putting the clips back on the hose I wasn't paying attention and the male came up mouth out of the water after my hand.wow.super defensive, can only imagine after they hatch.looked closely at the eggs, seems like a lot more are fertilized than not.lots of black dots.due to hatch tomorrow.any idea about how long before the adults will be interested in food again?

Yes..the white eggs are unfertilized ...could have been defective eggs as they were layed...sometimes that's a good thing....you should still have a large amount of fry...your female looked like she was about to set the record for most amount of eggs before she spawned...

About the pair eating... roughly a week and a half before mine started eating again...

They are Gorgeous. I am New here and not very knowledgeable about sites and how to get around in here. But I found your page! I found this site when I was looking for instruction to prime my Ancient mariner tank cleaner. been so long since I used it I cant seem to remember how to prime it. :O) Rusty, my Chiclid has really made a mess of his tank and I was attempting to clean it up. Seems the ancient mariner site is closed for some reason.

I've put a divider in to separate all the catfish etc , not sure weather to leave them together or just leave here with the eggs ???? He's not being aggressive ATM so I've left them together

Awesome , i think they will be ok, since mine dropped eggs they have been great together. Keep an eye on them, hopefully he fertilized them.
